Alyssa Evans Making a Difference Through Alternative Break Program

Alyssa Evans, of Easton, Pa., spent spring break working to help others in Tennessee through an Alvernia University 'Alternative Break' program. Evans, is a junior social work major at the University.

For the Tennessee "Once Upon a Time in Appalachia" alternative break experience, students repaired trails, planted trees, built things, and learned about the Cherokee people.
