Amanda Cannon receives Academic Excellence Award from Alvernia University

With Commencement less than a month away, graduating seniors at Alvernia University received awards during the annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Amanda Marie Cannon earned the Academic Excellence Award from the Criminal Justice Department.

The Academic Excellence Award is presented to a graduating senior with the highest grade point average in criminal justice, who holds true to the mission of the major, stipulated by the faculty of the department.

Cannon of Pottsville, Pa., will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in May.
