Andrea Zimmerman Earns Scholarship to Alvernia University

Hard work in high school has paid off for college-bound seniors. Andrea Zimmerman, of Ephrata, Pa., has been granted the Presidential Scholarship to study Accounting at Alvernia University in the fall. Zimmerman is currently a senior at Ephrata Senior High School.

Recipients of the $17,500 Presidential Scholarship must have a minimum of 1130 SAT* (or 25 ACT) and a minimum 3.5 GPA. Alvernia's Neag Nursing, Shirley and Joseph Boscov, Presidential, Trustees' and Veronica Scholarships are merit based and awarded on a competitive basis.
