Arielle Phillips Attends Psychological Conference

Arielle Phillips of Old Bridge, N.J. is attending the Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) Conference this spring. Phillips is studying Psychology at Alvernia University.

Phillips will present a poster on "Attachment Style and Relationship Satisfaction" at the conference. Her research was the result of a summer 2016 Student Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF). Student SURF fellows experience scholarship, research or creative process in collaboration and as modeled by Faculty Scholar.

The 2017 Annual Meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association will take place at the Boston Park Plaza in Boston, Mass., March 16-18, focusing on "Technology and Psychology." A Keynote Address will be given by Dr. Nick Kanas, professor emeritus at University of California, on "Psychological Aspects of Long Duration Space Missions." Dr. Kanas will discuss on-orbit psychological and interpersonal stressors, psychiatric issues in space, psychological and interpersonal issues in space, and positive effects of being in space.
