Arielle Phillips Receives Accolades for Freshman Honors Work

Arielle Phillips from Old Bridge, N.J., was awarded Second place for her Honors Freshman Research Symposium Poster titled “Media Violence.” Phillips is a Psychology major at Alvernia University.

Freshman Honors students enrolled in Philosophy 105 (taught by Dr. Janae Sholtz) and Communication 101 (taught by Dr. Richard Law) displayed results of their original research papers at the university's annual Research Symposium this fall.

Submitted research papers were judged by Dr. Tom Flynn, Dr. Peggy Bowen-Hartung, and Dr. Kevin Donnelly and senior-level Honors Thesis students served as poster judges.
