Ashley R. Ellingsworth of Newmanstown, Pa., Lebanon County, will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle School Education: Math and Science from Alvernia University magna cum laude. Ellingsworth studied at the university's Main Campus.
Alvernia's graduation ceremonies on May 11, 2013 include a Baccalaureate Mass (10:30 a.m.) on main campus, and Commencement (2 p.m.) at the Sovereign Center, Reading, Pa. Commencement speaker Dr. Beverly Malone will receive an honorary degree of humane letters before addressing students.
