Ashley Winters Participates in Intramurals Alvernia University

Ashley Winters of East Norriton, Pa., was an intramurals participant during the spring of 2015. Winters is an Early Childhood Education/Special Education major at Alvernia University and a graduate of Upper Dublin High School.

Alvernia University offers intramural sports to all students, faculty, and staff. Intramural sports offer opportunities to be involved in a variety of sports in a friendly environment. Five sports are offered throughout the academic year, including Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Whiffleball and Soccer.

The MAC was founded in 1912 and currently consists of 17 member institutions including Albright, Alvernia, Arcadia, Delaware Valley, DeSales, Eastern, Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham, Hood, King's, Lebanon Valley, Lycoming, Manhattanville, Messiah, Misericordia, Stevenson, Widener, and Wilkes. The MAC boasts more than 20 NCAA National Champions in a variety of sports over its 95-year existence.
