Ashley Winters honored at Alvernia University

Top students at Alvernia University received awards at the annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 26, 2015. Ashley Winters from Maple Glen, Pa., earned the Emma Yoh Award for Outstanding Professionalism from the Education department.

The Emma Yoh Award for Outstanding Professionalism and Memorial Scholarship is presented to an outstanding student majoring in education who demonstrates the dispositions for the teaching profession.

Winters is studying Early Childhood Education at Alvernia.
