Carlos Canela-Cuevas Admitted to Alvernia University

Carlos Canela-Cuevas, of Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic, has been admitted to Alvernia University for the fall semester. Canela-Cuevas is majoring in Mathematics Secondary Education.

Canela-Cuevas's journey began with an Orientation Day of Service on Fri. Aug. 24, when 430 new students joined faculty and staff to clean up playgrounds in the City of Reading, so that children have a safe place to play, learn, and grow.
