Chelsea Keip Served as Science Camp Volunteer at Alvernia University

Chelsea Keip, of St. Clair, PA, served as a volunteer for the free, week-long Carpenter Science Institute camp this summer at Alvernia University. Keip, is a Biology major at Alvernia University.

Led by Alvernia faculty and a team of Carpenter scientists, volunteers organized 100 7th-9th grade students though science activities and field trips to the Environmental Exploration Center at Angelica Park and the Franklin Institute.

The camp provided hands-on educational activities and coursework in physics, applied math, chemistry and ecology.
