Chelsea Prosser receives Sigma Tau Delta Henry Miller Award and Academic Excellence in CIS Award from Alvernia University

With Commencement less than a month away, graduating seniors at Alvernia University received awards during the annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Chelsea Anne Prosser earned the Sigma Tau Delta Henry Miller Award and Academic Excellence in CIS Award from the English, Communication and CIS Department.

The Henry Miller Award is presented to the graduating Sigma Tau Delta member who best exemplifies the character and intellectual curiosity of an individual who had a love of literature, an appreciation for education, and a question for every answer. The Academic Excellence Award in CIS is awarded to the student with the highest grade point average in computer and information studies classes.

Prosser of White Marsh, Md., will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in May.
