Christanna Brown Competes on Women's Cross Country Team at Alvernia

Christanna Brown of Elkton, Md., is competing as a member of the Crusaders' Women's Cross Country team in fall 2015. Brown is majoring in Social Work at Alvernia University and is a graduate of Elkton High School.

Alvernia is an active member of the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) - Commonwealth Conference, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and the NCAA.

The MAC was founded in 1912 and currently consists of 17 member institutions including Albright, Alvernia, Arcadia, Delaware Valley, DeSales, Eastern, Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham, Hood, King's, Lebanon Valley, Lycoming, Manhattanville, Messiah, Misericordia, Stevenson, Widener, and Wilkes. The MAC boasts more than 20 NCAA National Champions in a variety of sports over its 95-year existence.
