Christanna Brown of Elkton, Md., earned the Outstanding Social Work Academic Award from the College of Professional Programs' Allied Health & Human Services department, during the 2017 Honors Convocation, April 23.
Brown is studying Social Work at Alvernia.
Ceremony speakers included President Thomas F. Flynn, Ph.D., Lindback Faculty Award recipient Victoria Williams, Ph.D., and Senior Scholar Jerri von den Bosch.
