Hannah Asbury Named to Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers

Hannah Asbury, a resident of Chambersburg, Pa. participated as a member of Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers in the spring of 2015. Asbury is a Biochemistry major at Alvernia, and a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers (ASAPP) was created in 2011 as a student organization against sexual assault. The group has worked to educate the student body and surrounding community on sexual assault and surrounding topics such as prevention and safety. These students have trained with Berks Women in Crisis to become knowledgeable peer educators. ASAPP officially became a club at Alvernia University in 2013.
