Hannah Mallets Selected as a Peer Tutor at Alvernia University

Hannah Mallets, of O'Fallon, Ill., has been named a tutor in the Learning Center of Alvernia University. Mallets, majoring in Occupational Therapy, was selected to tutor A&P, for which she is a Supplimental Instruction Leader, for the 2015-16 academic year.

Peer tutors are members of the Alvernia University Learning Center staff selected on the basis of academic skill, leadership, character, and the ability to communicate well with others. They work on a one-on-one basis or in small group sessions to answer questions on course content and to aid in comprehension of course material. Tutors are expected to have extensive knowledge of the subject they are hired to tutor and the ability to communicate that knowledge to their peers. >> Learn More.
