Heather Foreman honored at Alvernia University

Top students at Alvernia University received awards at the annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 26, 2015. Heather Foreman from Reading, Pa., earned the Nursing Leadership Award from the Nursing department.

The Nursing Leadership Award is presented to a graduating senior nursing student who has demonstrated leadership among peers in service to the community and the profession while maintaining high standards of academic and clinical performance. In addition, Foreman earned the university's Saint Ignatius of Loyola Award. This award is bestowed upon military students who have exemplified selfless service, high moral courage and character, and a commitment to intellectual excellence without expectation of material reward or public recognition.

Foreman is studying Nursing at Alvernia.
