Jennifer Mack Named to Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers Group

Jennifer Mack, a resident of York, Pa., participated as a member of the Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers in the spring of 2016, while studying Social Work. Mack is a graduate of Eastern York High School.

Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers (ASAPP) was created in 2011 as a student organization against sexual assault. The group has worked to educate the student body and surrounding community on sexual assault and surrounding topics such as prevention and safety. These students have trained with Berks Women in Crisis to become knowledgeable peer educators. ASAPP officially became a club at Alvernia University in 2013.
