Jessica Weiss Named to Alvernia Student Nurses Association at Alvernia University

Jessica Weiss, a resident of Pottstown, Pa., was named an elected officer of the university's Alvernia Student Nurses Association in spring 2013. Weiss is a Nursing major at Alvernia, and a graduate of Owen J Roberts High School.

Through the Student Nurses Association, students gain the opportunity to network with student nurses and nursing professionals on a state and national level. Alvernia University nursing students are able to broaden their focus to issues and concerns facing the health care profession in general and specific issues facing the nursing profession.
