Jessica Weiss receives Leaders in Learning Award from Alvernia University

With Commencement less than a month away, graduating seniors at Alvernia University received awards during the annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Jessica Lynn Weiss earned the Leaders in Learning Award from the Nursing Department.

The Leaders in Learning Award is presented to a graduating senior nursing student who demonstrates outstanding academic and clinical performance, exemplifies the qualities of a Franciscan scholar, and whose service to the university, community, and profession has earned the respect of peers and the faculty.

Weiss of Pottstown, Pa., will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in May.
