Kevin Shainline Trained as Catholic Relief Services Ambassador

Kevin Shainline of Boyertown, Pa. was trained as a Student Ambassador for Catholic Relief Services in the fall of 2014. As an Ambassador and Psychology major, Shainline will work with Campus Ministry at Alvernia to advocate for and educate others on social justice issues. LAST will also work to help the campus community develop an understanding of global solidarity and integral human development.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is the official overseas relief and development agency of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and a member of Caritas International and the National Catholic Development Conference. The organization carries out the commitment of U.S. Bishops to assist the poor and vulnerable overseas, motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ to cherish, preserve and uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life, foster charity and justice, and embody Catholic social and moral teaching.
