Kiana Vega earns Third Place in Alvernia Competition

More than 300 students cheered on talented classmates performing in the 2017 Alvernia's Got Talent competition this spring. Healthcare Administration major Kiana Vega of Bernville, Pa. earned Third Place for performing Helium by Sia, with fellow student Amada Rhoads.

Organized by members of the university's Campus Activites Board (CAB), this year's event was judged by V.P. of University Life and Dean of Students Dr. Joseph Cicala, Communication Professor Dr. Jodi Radosh, and alumna Chrstina Urena '14.

Alvernia's first and second place winners will move on to the regional BerkS' Got Talent competition on Tuesday, April 11, in the Miller Center at Reading Area Community College (RACC), where they will face the top two contestants from Kutztown, Albright, RACC, Penn State Berks, and Penn State Schuylkill.
