Makayla Boyle Inducted into Beta Kappa Chi Honor Society

Makayla Boyle of Tamaqua, Pa. was named a member of the Beta Kappa Chi honor society in spring 2017. Boyle is studying Biochemistry at Alvernia University and is a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School.

Beta Kappa Chi - Natural Sciences & Mathematics - has the purpose of encouraging the advancement of scientific education through original investigations, the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and the stimulation of high scholarship in the pure and applied sciences.
