Makenzie Quinn Named to Alvernia University's Women's Lacrosse Team

Makenzie Quinn of Taneytown, Md., has been named a member of Alvernia's Women's Lacrosse team in the spring 2017 season, while studying Healthcare Science at Alvernia University. Quinn is a graduate of Francis Scott Key High School.

Alvernia is an active member of the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) - Commonwealth Conference, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and the NCAA.

The MAC was founded in 1912 and currently consists of 17 member institutions including Albright, Alvernia, Arcadia, Delaware Valley, DeSales, Eastern, Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham, Hood, King's, Lebanon Valley, Lycoming, Manhattanville, Messiah, Misericordia, Stevenson, Widener, and Wilkes. The MAC boasts more than 20 NCAA National Champions in a variety of sports over its 95-year existence.
