Mark Lacek Making a Difference Through Alternative Break Program

Mark Lacek, of Douglassville, Pa., is spending spring break working to help others in the Dominican Republic, through an Alvernia University 'Alternative Break' program. Lacek, is a junior Criminal Justice major at the University.
In the Vaya Con Dios, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, students will be volunteering at a school run by the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters, teaching children and adults from the local barrio.
