Matthew Junio Participating in Alternative Winter Break Program

Matthew Junio of Eddison, N.J., is spending winter break working to help others in Reading, Pa., through an Alvernia University Alternative Break program. Junio is studying Athletic Training at the university.

Participants spend a week learning more about the City of Reading and volunteering at a variety of different social service agencies, including Opportunity House, the Animal Rescue League, City Lights Ministries, Hope's Table Food pantry and Prospectus Berko.
