Melisa Rivera Performs in Sounds of the Season Concert at Alvernia

Melisa Rivera of Reading, Pa., sang Soprano and played the flute in the "Sounds of the Season" concert, in Alvernia University's Francis Hall Theater, Dec. 9, 2017. In addition, Rebecca Dunst, Melisa Rivera, Scott Giacobbe and Ettieanna Britt had solo parts for "All I Want for Christmas is You." The concert band was directed by Kurt Schneiderhan and the chorus was directed by Jennifer Michalik.

Rivera is studying Nursing at the university and is a graduate of Reading High School.
