Melissa Fellenbaum Defends Honors Thesis at Alvernia University

2015 Apr 30

Alvernia senior Melissa Fellenbaum of Mount Joy, PA, is defending her Honors Thesis "Is Food Frequency Questionnaire a Valid Means of Assessing Vitamin D Intake?" this spring.

The Honors Program at Alvernia University challenges highly motivated students to pursue academic excellence, and to actively exchange ideas and information with other students who have different interests or study different disciplines.

Fellenbaum is studying Occupational Therapy at the university.

Each Honors student must complete an informed, well-reasoned and creative thesis with the supervision of a faculty member. The thesis defense is the last step in a process that begins with the exploration of an issue or topic in the student's discipline, and includes extensive research and effective communication -- both written and oral.
