Meredith Beavers Named to Campus Activities Board at Alvernia University

Meredith Beavers, a resident of Port Republic, Md., was named President of the university's Campus Activities Board in spring 2013. Beavers is a Chemistry major at Alvernia, and a graduate of Calvert High School.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) president is an elected and voting member of the Student Government Association. CAB collaborates with the Office of Student Activities in developing and implementing well-rounded activities scheduled for the student body. CAB provides quality entertainment that is free to all Alvernia students. Members take an active role in determining the types of entertainment provided for the student body.
