Meredith Beavers from Port Republic, MD, served as President of Alvernia University's Campus Activities Board (CAB) in fall 2013 and spring 2014. A chemistry major at Alvernia, Beavers is a graduate of Calvert High School.
Alvernia's CAB president is an elected and voting member of the Student Government Association. CAB collaborates with the Office of Student Activities in developing and implementing well-rounded activities scheduled for the student body. The organization provides quality entertainment that is free to all Alvernia students. Members take an active role in determining the types of entertainment provided for the student body.
