Michael Tierney Competes for Mr. Alvernia

Nursing major Michael Tierney of Mertztown, Pa., competed as Mr. Residence Life in the 2017 Mr. Alvernia contest at Alvernia University, sponsored by the Student Government Association. Tierney was awarded Mr. Congeniality and Mr. Alvernia.

Hosted by 2016 Mr. Alvernia Winner Kyle Farrell, this year's contest was judged by David Shoup, assistant professor of mathematics, Stacey Cole, director of annual giving, and Bookstore Manager Kelly Coblentz.
