Rachel Fritz Competes on Alvernia University's Softball Team

Rachel Fritz of Kenhorst, Pa., competed as a member of the Crusaders' Softball team for the spring 2014 season. A graduate of Governor Mifflin Senior High School Fritz is a Health Care Science major at Alvernia University.

Alvernia is an active member of the Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) - Commonwealth Conference, the Eastern College Athletic Conferences (ECAC) and the NCAA.

The MAC was founded in 1912 and currently consists of 18 member institutions including Albright, Alvernia, Arcadia, Delaware Valley, DeSales, Eastern, Elizabethtown, Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham, Hood, King's, Lebanon Valley, Lycoming, Manhattanville, Messiah, Misericordia, Stevenson, Widener, and Wilkes. The MAC boasts 20 NCAA National Champions in a variety of sports over its 95-year existence.
