Rachel Loar Participates in Alternative Spring Break Program

Rachel Loar of Allentown, Pa., is spending the 2017 spring break working to help others in Washington, D.C., through an Alvernia University Alternative Break program. Loar is studying Occupational Therapy at the university.

Students taking part in the Franciscan Mission Service in Washington D.C., (March 5-11, 2017) build intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical awareness of the root causes and realities of poverty in the U.S., and work with local agencies that serve those in poverty.
