Ryan Cupo receives Senior Scholar Award from Alvernia University

In addition to graduating seniors, students continuing to work towards degrees at Alvernia University received awards at the annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Ryan Cupo earned the Senior Scholar Award from the university.
The Senior Scholar Award is a $10,000 scholarship toward Alvernia senior year tuition presented to one student. The recipient must maintain a 3.7 GPA, submit a letter describing his or her goals, a résumé, a reference letter from a faculty member, and a reference letter from a peer. Finalists are interviewed by the faculty Honors and Awards Committee and the Academic Standards Committee to determine the recipient.
