Shelby Hickox receives Nursing Excellence Award from Alvernia University

With Commencement less than a month away, graduating seniors at Alvernia University received awards during the annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Shelby Lynne Hickox earned the Nursing Excellence Award from the Nursing Department.

The Nursing Excellence Award is presented by the Upsilon Zeta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society to a member of the graduating class (traditional pre-licensure program) who best exemplifies the qualities of professional nursing while consistently maintaining high academic achievement.

Hickox of Littleton, Mass., will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in May.
