Simone Sims-Riley Named to Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers

Simone Sims-Riley, a resident of Philadelphia, Pa. participated as a member of Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers in the spring of 2015. Sims-Riley is a Psychology major at Alvernia, and a graduate of Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Predergast High School.

Alvernia Sexual Assault Prevention Peers (ASAPP) was created in 2011 as a student organization against sexual assault. The group has worked to educate the student body and surrounding community on sexual assault and surrounding topics such as prevention and safety. These students have trained with Berks Women in Crisis to become knowledgeable peer educators. ASAPP officially became a club at Alvernia University in 2013.
