Sydney Glasmyre receives Margaret Oberoltzer Lawrence Award for Excellence from Alvernia University

With Commencement less than a month away, graduating seniors at Alvernia University received awards during the annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Sydney Blair Glasmyre earned the Margaret Oberoltzer Lawrence Award for Excellence from the English, Communication and CIS Department.

The Margaret Oberholtzer Lawrence Award for Excellence is presented to a senior who demonstrates excellence and extensive participation in activities that promote an interest in the discipline.

Glasmyre of Mohnton, Pa., will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in May.
