Sydni Gajewski Participates in Alternative Break Program

Sydni Gajewski of Pottstown, Pa., is working to help others in Camden, N.J., through an Alvernia University Alternative Break program. Gajewski is studying Healthcare Science at the university.

Alvernia's week-long Alternative Break programs are offered over winter break, spring break, and summer. In Tennessee this summer, students repaired trails, planted trees, and handled other construction working alongside the Cherokee people. In Camden, N.J., students took part in a service-learning immersion experience with the Romero Center.
