Sydni Gajewski Participating in Alternative Winter Break Program

Sydni Gajewski of Pottstown, Pa., is spending winter break working to help others in Reading, Pa., through an Alvernia University Alternative Break program. Gajewski is studying Psychology and Healthcare Science at the university.

Participants spend a week learning more about the City of Reading and volunteering at a variety of different social service agencies, including Opportunity House, the Animal Rescue League, City Lights Ministries, Hope's Table Food pantry and Prospectus Berko.
