William George Gerber Graduates from Alvernia University

William George Gerber of Baltimore, Md., Anne Arundel County, will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Alvernia University magna cum laude. Gerber studied at the university's Main Campus. In addition, Gerber received the university's Athletic Training Academic Excellence Award and the Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award.

Alvernia's graduation ceremonies on May 11, 2013 include a Baccalaureate Mass (10:30 a.m.) on main campus, and Commencement (2 p.m.) at the Sovereign Center, Reading, Pa. Commencement speaker Dr. Beverly Malone will receive an honorary degree of humane letters before addressing students.
