Xena Sperrazza Competes on Alvernia University's Women's Tennis Team

Xena Sperrazza of Trenton, N.J., competed as a member of the Crusaders' Women's Tennis team for the spring 2015 season. Early Childhood Education/Special Education major, at Alvernia, Sperrazza is a graduate of Hamilton High School East-Steinert Memorial.

Alvernia's 2015 women's tennis team captured their first ever Commonwealth Championship with a win over Lebanon Valley this spring.

Alvernia is an active member of the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) - Commonwealth Conference, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and the NCAA.

The MAC was founded in 1912 and currently consists of 17 member institutions including Albright, Alvernia, Arcadia, Delaware Valley, DeSales, Eastern, Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham, Hood, King's, Lebanon Valley, Lycoming, Manhattanville, Messiah, Misericordia, Stevenson, Widener, and Wilkes. The MAC boasts more than 20 NCAA National Champions in a variety of sports over its 95-year existence.
