Details: Alvernia officials, community and business leaders and elected officials will celebrate the opening of the new Schuylkill YMCA location as well as completion of construction for a kitchen and retail space in Pottsville CollegeTowne at 500 Progress Avenue. The event marks the completion of Phase II of the university's CollegeTowne initiative which, in total with Phase I, represents an $8 million investment in downtown Pottsville.
