What: Alvernia University's College of Business, Communication, and Leadership annual conference: "Preparing for the Future, Now" featuring presentations and panels highlighting the following themes: Leadership, Diversity, and the Future of Education; AI, Business, and Media Integration; Leadership for a Sustainable Future, Education, Technology, and Resilience; Personal Development and Workforce Challenges; Social Media and Marketing Trends and Leadership and Student Development.

Who:

  • Welcome & opening remarks will be provided by:
    • Travis Berger, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Business, Communication and Leadership
    • Glynis A. Fitzgerald, Ph.D., President, Alvernia University
  • Over 30 local & regional presenters discussing the above topics.
  • Keynote Address "Tomorrow, Built Today: How Leaders Prepare for What's Next provided by:
    • Joe DiPaolo, Chief Operating Officer, Icario. Access his bio.

When: Thursday, April 3, 2025, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Details: Presented by the institution's College of Business, Communication, and Leadership, the conference invites presenters and attendees to consider how advances in technology have impacted people, organizations and society through sharing dynamic conversations, insights, research and applications. A continental breakfast, lunch, and wine and cheese reception will be provided.
