Several Alvernia University students traveled to Washington D.C., this January to prepare for the 45th U.S. Presidential Inauguration. Though a partnership with The Washington Center (TWC), the students are taking part in a two-week Inauguration 2017 Academic Seminar program that began Jan. 9 and culminates with the inauguration ceremony.

Thirty-seven Alvernia University students have received competitive awards this fall to explore unique real world learning experiences. The awards are provided through the university's new Real-World Experience Award program that is geared to expand students' access to experiential learning opportunities in all academic areas.
