Nursing major Natalie Lucas is spending this semester studying abroad through Alvernia University.

Just over 100 Alvernia student-athletes competed on Crusader sports teams this fall. Alvernia offers 9 men's and 11 women's intercollegiate, NCAA Division III teams.

Several Alvernia students active in the Bog Turtle Creek Farm attended workshops about sustainable agriculture and food access, at a February conference for the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture. Held in State College, Pa., the conference allowed more than 2,000 participants to learn from leading experts in the field.

The following students have been named to Alvernia University's Dean's List for the fall 2014 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.
